Your Dream~

During my younger age, I've dream to be a Prime Minister of Malaysia. Aha. Some of my friend used to ask me on what, who, why and how the dream came to me in such an early age??

My answer is...I love POWER! I want to control people and money! I want to control over the resources! and I want to take over the world!! The world is mine! MINE! Wahhaha *evil laugh*..

I'm kidding..

Actually I don't really know why. Maybe I'm just influenced by the environment. I'm the eldest among siblings, and I've been taught much and very close to my mother who is also the eldest from her siblings and also my father, of course.. he is the leader in my family.. and these environment which designing the structure of attitudes, as well as the character of mine.

When time goes by, I started to become more and more concern with people. I love to solve problems and conflicts (thou non of them was solved by me) *wahaha*, I love to lead my friend. I love to have a my own decisions and I love to manage things!

During my secondary, fortunately, since form 1 until form 4, I was appointed as a class leader. I dont know why. maybe by the time there's no students willing to carry such position as they know the position is boring and tiring. Thus I volunteer myself. (Ashraf.. you are not appointed by votes la? You vote yourself? ok lah) *aha* Well.. who cares. Even a Prime Ministers volunteer himself to lead the country.

During my campus life, I became more enthusiastic to join a leadership programs and activities. I've joined student's representative council, clubs, bureau and many more. Why? because I love to create networking with those people who can develop me into a better person.

During my semester break, I am very the lazy person to find part time job. So I spend my semester break with any activities which is.... er.. how to tell ah..? I don't know how to explain. Oh ya never mind... Let the pictures explain my idea. :)

Thus, to conclude all above, being a leader is a must for everyone. Not only for me, or you. If we not able to have the opportunity to lead people, lead ourself. Lead our family. For me personally, there are no such.. "oh you good la if you become leader. Me not. Bcoz me is only a good follower" Our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW used to say.. "Everyone is a leader, and his leadership would be held accountable." 

And so... the Malaysian general election is around the corner... and fortunately I am one of the candidates. I need your votes.. Please.. Help me to change this world to a better. I promise, if you give the chance to rule this country, you will not able to sleep at night.. Why? because the world will become very excitement place to live, thus you are not going to waste the moment and your time by sleeping. *ahaha*

I know you want me... U know i want ya!

Great Leader

A leader will help the organization facing some tough times. A good leader will have a plan in place already to react quickly during tough times. A great leader will have his very well plan even before the troubles exist and some time you will never know what dangers were in your path. Off all these leaders, there are only few great leaders who able see the path before anyone else.

  

They don’t have to see it alone. It is not necessary for a leader to be expert an intelligent in every aspect. They just need to be expert in communicating, delegating, motivating and leading a group of expert people to achieve the goals.

In other words, smart leaders know how to surround themselves with smarter people.  If you look around and you assume that you are the smartest person, you are not getting the full benefit of counsel.  Go find the smartest people in their disciplines. Create the smart team and achieve tremendous result.

Great leaders can have all those expert advisers helping them, but they do need to connect the dots and see where both problems and success lay in front of them. 

Leaders are readers. Reader here does not mean that a leader should read a lot of books and spend their lifetime reading in library or book’s store digesting all sorts of knowledge. The meaning of reader itself is much greater beyond that. Leaders should be able to 'read people' in his team.

Leaders should also know how to reach an individual to make him want to do what needed to be done. Needless to say, leaders should learn how to read their people by listen to others idea. Great ideas can come from anyone. Always be listening. Even a clerk can come up with a good idea.

Last but not least, if you want your people in the team to grow and develop, give them tough assignment. Great leaders groom people in his team for leadership. Give them opportunity to develop their skills. Being a leader, we create new leaders, not the all time followers. 

Great leader retain and sustain their great legacy, not only during his lead, but continuous toward the future.
